PRIVACY POLICY

Summary. convertFrog does not collect, store on our servers, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.

What the app stores on your device. The following stays on your device and is never sent to us: the currency pair you last selected and your home currency; the "prefer rounded values" setting; custom exchange rates you enter; the most recently downloaded exchange rates and when they were downloaded; and whether you have seen the first-run tips. Removing the app deletes this data.

Network requests. To show current exchange rates the app downloads a public rates table from open.er-api.com (ExchangeRate-API's free open endpoint). The request contains no information about you or your usage beyond what any internet request necessarily reveals to a server (such as your IP address and device/OS user agent). We do not operate this service and do not receive this information. See the provider's terms and privacy policy at exchangerate-api.com.

Permissions. Internet access only, to download exchange rates. The app does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, files or advertising identifier.

Children. The app does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.

Financial disclaimer. Exchange rates are indicative, may be delayed, and are provided "as is". They are not financial advice and should not be used for trading or other financial decisions. Actual rates charged by banks and providers differ.

Changes. If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new "Last updated" date.
