Where do the exchange rates come from?
From the free open.er-api.com service (ExchangeRate-API). They update about once a day, so they are indicative only. Banks and exchange bureaus apply their own rates and fees.
Does it work offline?
Yes. convertFrog keeps the last rates it downloaded and uses them when you have no connection.
Which platforms?
iPhone (iOS 16 or later) and Android (8.0 or later).
Is it free? Are there ads?
It is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
What data do you collect?
None. See the privacy policy.

The rates look old or won't refresh.
Open Settings and tap the "Updated" row to refresh. You need an internet connection; without one the app keeps showing the last rates it downloaded.
How do I swap the two currencies?
Tap the swap button in the header, or swipe across the header.
Can I use my own exchange rate?
Yes: Settings, Custom rate. It applies to the current pair and direction until you choose "Use Live Rate".
